For the family who asked for something soft — a standing tribute in lavender, white and green: cream white roses and two heads of lavender hydrangea at the center, blue delphinium and white snapdragon rising tall behind, open white lilies, a pale green football mum and white stock filling the base, and burgundy chrysanthemum buttons scattered through for depth, framed by an aspidistra leaf, palm, ruscus and leatherleaf fern with eucalyptus trailing off the front. Lavender says what plain white sometimes cannot: that this was a person with a favourite colour, not just a loss. Tall enough for a funeral home or a service, gentle enough to come back to the house afterwards and sit on a side table for the week that follows. We deliver to funeral homes across Nassau, Queens and western Suffolk, and we call ahead to confirm the service time before the driver leaves. Order before 2:00 pm and it goes out today, built to the photo in the same palette with whatever came in freshest that morning.

Built around rose, hydrangea, delphinium, snapdragon, lily, stock, chrysanthemum, ruscus, fern & eucalyptus. Every piece is built by hand the day it leaves the studio, so no two are identical. If the market does not have a stem at its best that morning we substitute something equal in colour and quality, rather than send a flower we are not happy with.

We hand-deliver from our studio at 1077 Willis Ave, Albertson to Roslyn, Manhasset, Great Neck, Port Washington, Garden City, Mineola, Williston Park, Westbury, New Hyde Park, Carle Place, Old Westbury and East Hills and the rest of Nassau County, Queens and western Suffolk. We are not a wire service — your order is never handed to another florist.
Change the water every couple of days and take half an inch off the stems on the diagonal each time. Keep it out of direct sun, away from radiators, and off the fruit bowl — ripening fruit gives off ethylene and shortens a vase life faster than anything else in a kitchen.
